Truck & Logistics Simulator on Nintendo Switch

I like simple games and to me engaging gameplay is the most important thing. I don't need an elaborate narrative and long non-skippable cut scenes. If I'd wish to build a relationship with the characters and follow their backstories I'd see a movie. Just show me the controls, give me a task to complete and let me enjoy the game. That's exactly what Truck & Logistics Simulator does. I love it for its brevity and simplicity. It's pure bliss! I'm a simple man after all, who chooses to keep things simple rather than over-engineered and bloated.

Another thing that I like about the game: it's not ugly visually. That's a relief since most similar simulation games have poor graphics, and that's a huge turn-off for me, even on a handheld system. I have standards! It's 2025 and ugly game is a no-go. Also, in driving games, be it arcade or simulation, I prefer the third person perspective rather than first person view. This game is TPP and that's a big plus as this is also kinda rare in sim games. Added bonus: You get to operate a forklift when you're picking up cargo, which is pretty cool. There is a number of vehicles that you can buy with money earned completing jobs. On the pick-up spot you can pick and choose. If you don't feel like carrying a big load or driving far you can choose something light and/or less time-consuming. It's up to you.

The map is huge and vehicle physics are realistic (yeah, like I'd know anything about that since I don't even drive in real life), which took some getting used to since I mostly play arcade-ish driving games. On a side note: I had to order another copy, because the first one got lost in transit. Logistics game got lost due to poor real-life logistics I guess. Isn't it ironic? This is the first time ever something like that happened to me and I buy a lot of games recently. Truck & Logistics Simulator is an amazing game and if you value good gameplay and enjoy simple pleasures like I do you're gonna love it too. I wholeheartedly recommend! 11 out of 10 in my book. I gotta go now, I have stuff to deliver.
