There are many opinions to be had and formulated about the gaming industry. And about the state of physical media. The old school folks out there like it very much and boycott digital. I am on the fence to be honest with you. Most of my games I own a physical copy, but there are some digital downloads in my libraries on PS4 and Switch. Like a digital copy of Max Payne, which was a PS2 game, but I can play it on PS4 thanks to PlayStation e-shop. That's the only way I could have it and relive those memories (I completed the game in the early 00s). It is convenient for sure, but the game is not "really yours". Owning physical copy is far better in this regard. I can't stop buying games though, which may be a little problematic. Not as problematic as a downward spiral, on which my friend WojTech is currently. He lets dark thoughts near. You never do this. You fight them, overwrite CD-RW style, like back in 00s!
