Bench points: 23. 3 blocks. 2 steals. 6 dunks. Brandon Ingram recorded 24 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 16 minutes on the floor. Zion, disappointingly, 8 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. Silent assassin, balding warrior Cody Zeller was with us, scored 4 points in 6 minutes. I went shopping. Purchased The Hunger Games book (in English), Morgan Blu-ray (French version), and Splice Blu-ray (English). Cost: approximately 23.50 euro. Ingram won that game for me. Zion was unreliable. I feel adventurous. This Saturday I'm going to Hradec Kralove in Czech Republic. It takes a 3-hour bus ride from Wroclaw. I need approximately 1h 40mins to get to Wroclaw from Bielawa, where I live. Bus leaves at 7:55 from Wroclaw Bus Station. You can catch me there. We can organize Fan Meeting on the bus. Yesterday I played some Syberia on Switch, but I did not like it that much. I don't know if I'm ever gonna resume it. 

I'm watching a copy of American Psycho DVD, which I bought from P. H. U. "Kolekcja" (eng, Collection) in Bielawa 25 years ago. It still plays just fine. When they were closing they had a sale on all DVDs and VHS casettes. You may call it a small city Blockbuster. I used to borrow movies from them as a kid. When they were closing I bought a copy of American Psycho with Christian Bale and Matchstick Men with Nicolas Cage and Sam Rockwell. I'm contemplating if I should buy American Psyho on Blu-ray. Hmmm...

I'm a 35-year-old casual gamer from Poland, who rediscovers gaming after a 10-year break. The last game I completed was Max Payne 3 on PC back in 2015. Recently (late 2024) I purchased a new PlayStation 4 console. I also own a Nintendo Switch Lite (pink version, bought in 2019) and Switch OLED, which I got two weeks ago in Amsterdam, where I was on vacation. Yesterday I bought two new cards on Ebay: Aleksej Pokusevski (OKC Thunder) and autographed Elfrid Payton (G-League's Mad Ants).

Nostalgia strikes back: American Splendor by Harvey Pekar

My copy of The New American Splendor Anthology by Harvey Pekar just came in the mail. 300 pages of Harvey's trademark gloom and doom from off the streets of Cleveland. It's an amazing book and I can't wait to read it all. Pekar's stories are illustrated by various artists, but it's all quality art. I learned about Harvey Pekar and Robert Crumb from the 2003 movie starring Paul Giamatti and Hope Davis. Their performances are stellar and the story is engaging. I really dig that movie man. In the late 00s I used to download movies with eDonkey2000 (it could literally take days for the download to complete with low-bandwidth Internet connection of ours) and burn them on CDs to play on the TV screen. Luckily our DVD player supported CD-R and DivX, so it opened up possibilities for me. I could immerse in American movies and shows, which were far superior to Polish ones. Nostalgia and giving back

My first ever gaming experience was with Superfrog and Prince of Persia on Amiga 600 in the early nineties. I recall that it was my cousin's Christmas present, and we had pirated copies of those games on floppies. Superfrog was so much fun back then. We spent hours progressing through levels, collecting coins, and shooting down bees. Amazing classic. Lately I had an opportunity to give back to the family member, who made my first gaming experience happen. The person who bought the Amiga then received a special gift from me in return. After approximately 30 years since they made my first gaming experience possible I put together a special gift for them. After noticing their interest in my Switch and some of the games I decided to buy them their own system and games.
